Akarsh is part of the Employment and Risk Practice Group of the Firm. 

He has over a decade of experience representing domestic and international clients across fora in contentious employment-related matters. In addition to his litigation experience, Akarsh counsels clients on employment audits, employee benefits and compensation structuring, workforce planning, and management, including planning and execution of redundancies, closure of industries, union negotiations, collective bargaining, and investigations including those dealing with harassment and financial wrongdoings. 

Akarsh has experience across sectors including manufacturing, telecommunications, information technology, FMCG, hospitality, construction, automotive, e-commerce, consumer electronics, healthcare, textiles, sustainable energy, media and entertainment, and steel.

Akarsh is associated with the V.V. Giri National Labour Institute, Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India as an expert panelist on labour and employment laws. 

He graduated in law from the Faculty of Law, Jamia Millia Islamia.
